Intermediate Workshop on Agent-based Modeling for Korean Strategic Foresight

Elena Rovenskaya, Leena Ilmola-Sheppard and Nikita Strelkovsky visited Seoul, Korea on 17-24 September where they participated in the second workshop dedicated to the project Agent-based Modeling for Korean Strategic Foresight together with researchers from STEPI (Science and Technology Policy Institute, Seoul, Korea).

At the workshop ASA researchers gave several presentations covering principles of agent-based modeling, specifications for an agent-based model of Korean socioeconomic system and scenario writing issues. The ASA team gave a demonstration of an alpha version of the Dream Valley model customized for Korea followed by two seminars with experts from STEPI and various Korean institutes. The working group had several discussions aimed to build detailed model structure.
