Lecture & Discussion - Urania, Berlin

On 9 April 2013, Global Energy Assessment lead author Prof. Dr. Helga Weisz (Chapter 18), will present and highlight the key findings of GEA during a presentation and subsequent discussion with audience participation at the Urania in Berlin.

Prof. Dr. Weisz will give a presentation in the Urania series of lectures entitled, "Wege in eine ökologische und gerechte Gesellschaft" (Pathways to an Ecological and Fair Society).  Her presentation, titled "Eine weltweite Energiewende - eine unlösbare Herkulesaufgabe oder machbar zum Wohlstand aller?" (A Global Energy Transition - a Herculean Task or possible for the benefit of everyone?).

Urania is a sceintific society founded and based in Berlin since the late-19th century. It aims to act as an communication gateway for science to the public.
