IIASA YSSP

From 1 June to 31 August 2016, the 51 participants carried out collaborative research projects at IIASA. The projects relate both to their doctoral studies and to IIASA research that uses systems analysis methods to address major societal problems. At the workshop they will present their work carried out during the last 3 months.

The event is open to public and you are cordially invited to attend the colloquium and show your interest and support for the work that the YSSPers have achieved over the last few months.

ABOUT THE YSSP

Since 1977, IIASA’s annual 3-month Young Scientists Summer Program (YSSP) offers research opportunities to talented young researchers whose interests correspond with IIASA’s ongoing research on issues of global environmental, economic and social change. From June through August accepted participants work within the Institute’s research programs under the guidance of IIASA scientific staff. Funding is provided through IIASA's National Member Organizations. Applications for the 2017 YSSP will open on 1 October 2016 and are accepted until 11 January 2017.
