Camila Callegari

Camila Callegari is PhD at Energy Planning Program at COPPE/UFRJ. She is industrial engineer and holds a master degree in Energy Planning.

Camila Callegari develops a global travel demand simulator through the implementation of a multinomial logit model to assess different pathways towards a less carbon intensive transport system. She looks at how the historical growth in per capita PKT and its distribution across mode may continue to evolve over the next 80 years, if the key determinants remain unchanged. The resulting model is capable of simulating changes in travel demand and mode share in response to changes in income, prices, and door-to-door speeds.
