IIASA Visit to Brazil
During the visit, Nakicenovic met:
- The Brazilian Minister of Environment, HE Dr Izabella Monica Vieira Teixeira;
- Carlos Nobre, IIASA Council Member for Brazil and recently appointed President of CAPES (Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel) at the Brazilian Ministry of Education;
- Raphael Azeredo, Director, Department for the Environment and Special Affairs at the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and
- Márcio Rojas da Cruz, General Coordinator for Global Climate Change at the Brazilian Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation.
