The messages emerging from the DSDS provide the backdrop for the World Sustainable Development Forum's Regional Sustainable Development Summits worldwide.

This year, Attaining Energy, Water and Food Security for All, has been identified as the theme for the DSDS, which will be held from 6-8 February, 2014 in New Delhi, India.
