Rachel Potter joined IIASA in July 2017. She is currently Communications Officer in the Communications and External Relations Department. In her role, she supports IIASA communication activity across a range of channels including the website, publications, and media, and provides support to a team of communications professionals.
Prior to joining IIASA, Rachel had over 15 years of communications and marketing experience, leading a range of projects and campaigns promoting public health services across the north of England, and most recently in Brussels. She was a trainer for the British Arts Council and has worked in diverse international settings including East Timor, Thailand, Australia, and Hong Kong. Rachel has a BA in Politics/History from the University of Western Australia and a post graduate degree in communications from the University of Technology Sydney.
