Veronica Karabaczek joined IIASA in January 2020 and is part of the Equity and Justice (EQU) Research Group. She is working on the TransLoss project, which aims to provide policy-relevant scientific insights regarding the Loss and Damage and limits to adaptation from the perspective of Austria. In addition, she is working on the WaterStressAT project, aiming to identify impacts of future climatic conditions and socio-economic developments on water demand and availability.
Ms. Karabaczek holds an MSc in Environmental Modelling from University College London (UK) and an MSc in Project Management for Environmental and Energy Engineering from IMT Atlantique (FR). She is currently enrolled in a PhD programme at the University of Salzburg.
