Biography

Magdalena Tordy joined IIASA in April 2020. Currently, she is working in the Equity and Justice (EQU) Research Group within the Population and Just Societies (POPJUS) Program. She is part of the makingAchange project, aiming at developing and testing a standardized training concept to ensure efficient peer learning in the field of climate change and sustainability. Ms. Tordy is mainly involved in coordinating and implementing peer-to-peer activities in Austrian schools and universities.

Ms. Tordy holds a double MSc in Environmental Science from the Euroleague of Life Sciences where she studied at the University of Life Sciences (BOKU, Austria) and the University of Copenhagen (Denmark) with specializations in Climate Change and Nature Management. She received her BA in Water Management and Spatial Development at the University of Life Sciences and was on Erasmus in Sweden.
