The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) hosts Fifth meeting of OECD-IIASA Task Force on Systems Thinking, Anticipation and Resilience.

IIASA and OECD have a long history of successful collaborative relations with multiple scientific advancements and exchange of expertise. With the view to strengthen cooperation further and to form a strategic partnership a comprehensive Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the heads of organizations in 2017, and renewed in 2021. The aim of this agreement is to help OECD Member countries and IIASA National Member Organizations develop more effective and efficient policies through the application of systems thinking and analysis to global and regional challenges. To implement this agenda a joint OECD-IIASA Task Force on Systems Thinking, Anticipation, and Resilience was established.

The Fifth OECD-IIASA Task Force meeting will take place on 29 April 2022 at OECD headquarters. High-level delegations from the two organizations will review progress achieved since the Fourth Task Force meeting (24-25 March 2021) and will discuss steps to move forward.

A number of presentations by OECD and IIASA representatives and invited participants are expected. Among them are:
